The Project
In this internship, you'll be immersed in a thrilling project focusing on Kubernetes, containers, and DevOps practices. Get ready to tackle real-world challenges, optimize deployment strategies, and streamline operations using the latest tools and techniques in cloud-native computing.
The Mentor
Meet your mentor, Amine Ben Asker, an Automation & Containers expert With years of hands-on experience and passion for sharing knowledge. Amine will guide you through every step of the internship journey, providing valuable insights, mentorship, and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the containerization and orchestration of applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize the deployment process.
- Explore and contribute to the implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices for automated provisioning and configuration.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of automation scripts and tools.
- Help configure monitoring tools to ensure the availability and performance of IT systems.
- Participate in resolving infrastructure issues under the supervision of the DevOps team.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and system administrators.
- Actively contribute to the planning and execution of IT projects with the guidance of mentors.
Qualifications
⚪️ Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
⚪️ Knowledge of containerization technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes.
⚪️ Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
⚪️ Initial academic or personal experience in developing REST APIs and understanding software engineering principles.
⚪️ Basic skills or familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Shell scripting.
⚪️ A strong desire to learn and quickly adapt to new technologies and tools.
⚪️ Proficiency in English and French is required.
